More than 80 Airmen and family members attended the first Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month luncheon at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, May 25, 2017. In 1992, May was designated as the month to celebrate contributions and achievements given by Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
