Easter Weekend, April 19-20

Dyess Air Force Base is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated 2025 Airshow, scheduled to take place over Easter weekend, April 19-20, 2025. This year's theme, "Wings Over West Texas: A Salute to Western Heritage," promises to be an extraordinary celebration of aviation excellence and the rich cultural history of the American West. The highlight of the event will be an exhilarating performance by the United States Air Force Thunderbirds, renowned for their breathtaking aerobatic displays and precision flying. In addition to the Thunderbirds, the airshow will feature a diverse lineup of military and civilian aircraft.

Event Entry 

Event is free and open to the public!

Directions 

All air show attendees (DoD cardholders and general public) will use the Dyess Main Gate located by the Dyess Visitor's Center or the Tye Gate (Dyess Commercial Gate) located on Military Dr. during the following hours. After entering the base, you will be ushered to the air show parking area.

8 a.m. - 11 a.m.: Arnold and Tye Gates inbound traffic only

11 a.m. - 3 p.m.: Arnold and Tye Gates both inbound/outbound

3 p.m. - 5 p.m.: Arnold gate outbound only; Tye Gate inbound and outbound
