Abilene leaders tour Dyess

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman John Fletcher, left, 7th Civil Engineer Squadron, briefs Leadership Abilene members about his job as an Explosive Ordinance Disposal member March 7, 2014, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. While touring the facility, the group had the opportunity to learn what EOD members do while deployed and how they assist local bomb squads in the surrounding communities. Leadership Abilene is a program intended to develop proficient leaders and is limited to 34 to 36 participants from different city organizations sponsored by the Abilene Chamber of Commerce.
