Travel vouchers now available on MyPay Published Sept. 24, 2013 By Airman 1st Class Kedesha Pennant 7th Bomb Wing Public Affairs DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Travel vouchers now available on MyPayMilitary members are now able to view travel vouchers on their Leave and Earnings Statement. These vouchers are paid through the Reserve Travel System, which the local finance office submits to the Air Force Financial Services Center for processing. They are mainly for Permanent Duty Travel and any other vouchers that are not processed in the Defense Travel System. "Essentially, if a member wanted a copy of their travel voucher, they had to stop by Finance or call us to receive it," said Master Sgt. Sharma Haynes, the 7th Comptroller Squadron Financial Services Flight chief. "Sometimes people put in different e-mail addresses and for some reason they don't receive it, or for someone who just moved here they may not have their new e-mail set up." There is a link for the travel voucher on the LES for military members to easily view and it remains available for 180 days, Haynes said. This option makes it convenient for military members so they can save a trip to the finance office. "For shift workers or for individuals who can't make it over to the finance office, they have access available at their fingertips," Haynes said. If any questions arise, servicemembers are encouraged to call before they may be advised to make a visit. MyPay significantly improves security for the delivery of your payment information over the current e-mail process, and precludes the possible exposure of sensitive travel information. For more information, you can call the financial services office at (325) 696-4193.
