Warrior of the Week Published March 25, 2009 DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- This week's warrior is Airman 1st Class Sylvia Daniel. Unit: 28th Bomb Squadron Job title: Aviation Resource Manager Apprentice Job description and its impact on the overall mission: I ensure B-1 aircrew are qualified and current on training requirements allowing bombs to be dropped on time, on target. Time in the military: 10 months Time at Dyess: 7 months Family: My husband, parents, and two older brothers Hometown: Davidson, Okla. Why did you join the military? After being the youngest of my two brothers and watching them enjoy the military it drove me to want to do something good with my life. Where do you see yourself in 10 or 20 years: Still in the Air Force, with at least my bachelor's degree in business administration, with a cute little family! What do you do for fun here? Spend time with my husband, go shopping, watch a lot of movies, bowling, & hanging out with my friend Yazmin. What's your favorite Air Force memory or story? I haven't been in the Air Force very long so at this moment I do not currently have one, but I work with a lot of wonderful people so hopefully I will soon! What accomplishment are you most proud of? Completing basic training and tech school on time and being nominated for Warrior of the Week! Who are your role models? My parents. To have all their children in the military make them very strong individuals.
