Child injury reported at Dyess

The 7th Bomb Wing and the Air Force Office of Special Investigations are assisting the Abilene Police Department in the investigation of a child injury on Dyess AFB and will continue to do so.

"Our first concern is the physical and mental health and well-being of those involved in this incident, as well as Dyess Airmen and their families," said Col. Glen VanHerck, 7th Bomb Wing commander.

Please refer all queries regarding this investigation to the Abilene Police Department.

The Dyess Public Affairs office will release more information as it becomes available.
