A U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules equipped with external fuel tanks assigned to the 317th Airlift Wing taxis before departing for a Maximum Endurance Operation at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, Jan. 12, 2026. The mission marked the 317th AW’s 10th MEO into the Indo-Pacific region, extending tactical airlift reach by operating with minimal ground time and refueling stops. The 317th AW augmented Joint Base Charleston’s Combat Readiness Exercise with tactical airlift capabilities that enhanced interoperability and readiness for future Indo-Pacific operations.
