317th AW honors fallen Airmen during TORQE 62 ten-year memorial

U.S. Air Force Col. Justin Diehl, 317th Airlift Wing commander, speaks during the 10th anniversary memorial ceremony for TORQE 62 at the Dyess Memorial Park in Abilene, Texas, Oct. 2, 2025. The ceremony commemorated the crew of TORQE 62, a C-130J Super Hercules that crashed shortly after takeoff from Jalalabad Airfield, Afghanistan, while executing a mission under Operation Freedom’s Sentinel.
