317th AW prioritize aircraft readiness amidst damaging winds

Airmen from the 317th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron prepare a C-130J Super Hercules for take-off at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, March 13, 2025. The 317th Airlift Wing rapidly relocated 11 C-130Js to Kelly Field in San Antonio, Texas. The aircraft reposition was driven by forecasted high winds, but its execution demonstrates the 317th AW’s ability to quickly relocate aircraft and personnel to preserve readiness in all conditions.
