18th Air Force command recognizes Dyess’ VR lab
Chief Master Sgt. Chad Bickley, 18th Air Force command chief, looks through a virtual reality headset at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, Mar. 3, 2021. The 317th Maintenance Group’s virtual reality lab’s initial project began in 2018 with the hardware purchased in 2019 and then was made fully operational with 16 student work stations in 2020. With how successful the classes have been, the lab opened up study halls for maintainers to practice common tasks. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Mercedes Porter)
