Air Force, Army conduct joint deployment prep exercises
U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 39th Airlift Squadron and the 40th Airlift Squadron in Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, work together with U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 428th Field Artillery Brigade from Fort Sill, Oklahoma, to load artillery and Humvees into C-130J Super Hercules at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, May 1, 2019. The two squadrons teamed up with the brigade for an exercise to simulate deployed operations as a form of training which would benefit them when deployed overseas in real-world scenarios.
