Operations in action: meet the 7th OG
Tami Dugger, wife of 7th Bomb Wing Command Chief Master Sgt. Eric Dugger, tests out the 28th Bomb Squadron virtual reality flight simulator for the B-1B Lancer during the 7th Operations Group Immersion at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, Feb. 12, 2019. The emerging B-1 virtual reality flight simulator allows incoming pilots to quickly become familiar with controls and operations prior to flying the aircraft in real time. All B-1 pilots and weapons systems officers undergo an extensive training course to learn B-1 specific instruments and systems before taking to the skies at Dyess or Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D.
