317th ISO: keeping the C-130s ready
A Dyess Air Force Base C-130J Super Hercules is required to undergo regular inspections by the 317th Maintenance Squadron isochronal inspection team every certain number of flying hours or calendar days. Though the ISO team is informed of issues the aircraft may have from the perspective of aircrews and loadmasters, their in-depth inspection ensures that the aircraft is ready to complete the mission until the next inspection is required.
