The 317th Operational Support Squadron Aircrew Flight Equipment shop is responsible for the inspection, repair and repacking of all in-flight safety equipment for aircrew, to include parachutes, water survival equipment, oxygen masks, hazardous material gear, radios, harnesses and helmets. Airmen inspect aircrew flight equipment based on inspection cycles, which requires the equipment to be inspected regularly based on their technical orders.
