B-1B involved in May IFE departs Midland
U.S. Air Force pilots and weapons systems officers assigned to the 10th Flight Test Squadron at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., prepare to fly a Dyess AFB, Texas, B-1B Lancer from Midland International Air & Space Port, Oct. 26, 2018. The B-1B has spent six months at Midland since the crew made an emergency landing there May 1, 2018. The aircraft will undergo complete depot maintenance, which includes a complete review, repair, restore and replacement of aircraft components, by experts at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex before returning to Dyess.
