Air Force Aid Society provides emergency financial assistance

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Lucille Vieira, 40th Airlift Squadron C-130J Super Hercules instructor loadmaster, utilized the Air Force Aid Society in 2009 while she was stationed at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. When she moved into a new house, her debt increased from owing rent to her previous home. The AFAS was able to grant her an interest-free loan that helped get her back on track with budgeting her previous debt. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Mercedes Porter)
