Dyess holds wing retreat ceremony
U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 7th Bomb Wing fold the flag during the wing retreat ceremony at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, Jan. 12, 2018. Retreat was first used by the French Army and dates back to the Crusades. Since the Revolutionary War, the U.S. Army has used the bugle call which is sounded at sunset.
