317th Airlift Wing vital to Hurricane Irma relief efforts
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Chad Hurt, 39th Airlift Squadron loadmaster, escorts U.S. Marines off of a C-130J Super Hercules at St. Martin, Sept. 14, 2017. Airmen from the 317th Airlift Wing departed Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, on Sept. 13 and arrived at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras to pick up needed supplies and U.S. Marines supporting Joint Task Force –Leeward Islands were transported to provide humanitarian aid in support of U.S. Agency for International Development - Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance.
