Airmen with a voice
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Danielle Galich, 40th Airlift Squadron C-130J Hercules loadmaster, was diagnosed with stage-two breast cancer after finding a lump in her breast during an exam she had after a drunk driving accident she had caused. Although Galich is disappointed in herself over the accident due to driving while intoxicated, she contemplates whether or not it saved her life. She says if she had not crashed her car, she would have never found the lump in her breast. (Courtesy photo)
