From EOD Airman to Silver Star recipient
U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Kristopher Parker, an explosive ordnance disposal technician, was involved in a mission in which he provided suppressive fire and cleared numerous improvised explosive devices. During the operation, Parker enabled his team to suppress the enemy and return alive. Parker was highlighted in the Air Force series ‘Portraits in Courage’ for his bravery while deployed.
