Retired U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Kristopher Parker, was presented the Silver Star by General Robin Rand, commander of Air Force Global Strike Command March 17, 2017, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. Parker was awarded the Silver Star Medal for gallantry in action against an enemy of the United States during his deployment to Afghanistan in May of 2014.
