Operation Dyess Kids deploy children to a galaxy far, far away

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Ashley Cotton, 7th Logistics Readiness Squadron, smiles as she watches her daughter Laylah learn how to put on a gas mask during Operation Dyess Kids 2016 at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, Oct. 22, 2016. After going through the deployment processing line and receiving a pre-deployment brief, the children saw numerous displays and demonstrations and were able to, try on gas masks, eat meals ready to eat commonly known as MREs, have their faces painted and much more.
