Avionics makes the grade
U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 7th Component Maintenance Squadron avionics back shop pose in front of line replaceable units June 21, 2016, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. Line replaceable units are part of the defensive avionics system of the B-1B Lancer. This system identifies and jams threats and ultimately safeguards the aircraft and aircrew onboard. The avionics back shop has met all of their monthly requirements for 13 months straight under the Air Force’s Repair Network Integration Center of Excellence program, which focuses on units maintaining a specific set of line replaceable units.
