51st celebration of the World’s Largest Barbeque
Volunteers slice meat in preparation of the World’s Largest Barbeque April 16, 2016, at the Abilene Civic Center, Abilene, Texas. Volunteers prepared and served an estimated 3,075 pounds of meat to military members and their families at this year’s barbeque. The Abilene Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee gathers food donated by local businesses and volunteers from the community to provide free barbeque to military members and their families.
