18th Air Force leadership visits Dyess

U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Sam Cox, 18th Air Force commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Todd Petzel, 18th AF command chief, have breakfast with Airmen from the 317th Airlift Group, March 29, 2016, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. Cox and Petzel spent their time at Dyess learning about the Airmen assigned to the 317th Airlift Group and how they contribute to the Air Force mission. On a daily basis, the personnel of the 317th fly passengers, equipment and supplies all over the world to support U.S. military obligations, take part in numerous exercises to develop and refine their skills and are often involved in humanitarian disaster relief operations around the world.
