U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Sam Cox, 18th Air Force commander, pilots a C-130J Super Hercules, March 30, 2016, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. Cox toured the 317th Airlift Group to meet the Airmen and learn what they do on a daily basis to help accomplish the Air Force mission. The C-130J is the newest generation of the C-130 Hercules which primarily performs the tactical portion of the airlift mission.
