The Air Force Exceptional Family Member Program provides support and ensures medical, educational and other necessities are taken care of for military family members with special needs. The medical, family support and assignment tiers of EFMP strive to ensure sponsors are assigned to locations that support both the accomplishment of the Air Force mission and the well-being of families.
