Dyess B-1s and Barksdale B-52s integrate for stand-off weapons training week
A U.S. Air Force B-52H Stratofortress from the 340th Weapons Squadron, Barksdale Air Force Base, La., taxis past a B-1B Lancer April 23, 2015, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. The 77th WPS and the 340th WPS recognized the need to increase bomber stand-off weapons training between different bomber airframes. This exercise marks the first step in increasing Stand-Off Weapons Integration Training, which plays a vital role in bomber integration.
