A bright future for Dyess, community partners
The community of Abilene built and donated the museum as a gift to Dyess Air Force Base for the Air Force’s 50th birthday in 1997. Inside the facility, which is located outside the Dyess Memorial Park, visitors can view the history of Dyess Air Force Base since its commissioning in the early 1940’s. (Courtesy Photo)
