Dyess Airmen deploy in support of OUA
U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Nicholas Conger, infectious disease physician, left, and U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. (Dr.) Kory Cornum, Air Mobility Command surgeon general, answer questions Oct. 23, 2014, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, about an upcoming deployment. Airmen from the 317th Airlift Group and the 7th Bomb Wing will deploy in support of Operation United Assistance. Airmen are taking all prudent steps necessary to stay safe while deployed as part of a comprehensive effort led by the U.S. Agency for International Development to contain the outbreak of the Ebola virus in West Africa. Their equipment, training, procedures and discipline will help them accomplish the mission without putting our nation, its forces and their families at unnecessary risk.
