Joint EOD training at Dyess

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Eduardo Rojas, 7th Component Maintenance Squadron aircrew egress shift lead, explains the explosive components of an Aces 2 ejection seat found on a B-1B Lancer Aug. 11, 2014, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. During two days of training, Airmen from the 7th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal flight worked alongside U.S. Army Soldiers from the 75th Ordnance Disposal Company, 79th Ordnance Disposal Battalion, 71st Ordnance Group, to get hands-on experience with explosive hazards present on the B-1B Lancer and C-130J. Deployed EOD teams may be responsible for rendering explosive components of aircraft safe after emergencies or ejections. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Peter Thompson/Released)
