Hercules: Still going strong after 60 years
A C-130A Hercules sits in the Dyess linear air park at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. This aircraft, which was the first C-130A delivered to the Air Force, was delivered to the 463rd Troop Carrier Wing, now the 463rd Airlift Wing, at Ardmore AFB, Okla., Dec. 9, 1956.
