317th loadmasters recertify
U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Simon Fonseca, Aerial Delivery Field Services Department, reviews discrepancies on airdrop bundle with members of the 317th Airlift Group July 25, 2013 during a recertification class at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. With limited funds available to keep the 317th Airlift Group flying, leadership within the organization found a way to ensure 45 Airmen behind the scenes stay certified to keep the C-130s in the air -all while saving $85,000, by sending instructors here to teach required courses.
