Airmen assigned to the 7th Bomb Wing Honor Guard, pallbearer a casket during training week, Aug. 2, 2013, at the honor guard building on Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. Airmen spend three months with the honor guard, traveling around Texas to perform ceremonial duties for deceased service members. Dyess covers 34,000 square miles, 38 counties and perform more than 200 funerals a month. During the funerals the members pallbearer the casket, perform a flag fold, a three-man gun salute, play taps and present the flag and three shell casings to the next-of-kin.
