337th TES assures JASSM-ER carriage capability
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Charles Taylor, 7th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, positions a munitions lift truck under the aft munitions bay to remove a Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile-Extended Range missile from a B-1B Lancer Dec. 12, 2013, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. The JASSM-ER is an autonomous, long-range, air-to-ground, precision missile used solely by the B-1B Lancer. The JASSM-ER’s significant standoff range is designed to keep aircrew out of danger from hostile air defense systems. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airmen Peter Thompson/Released)
