Dyess crew chief inspects landing gear

DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Airman 1st Class Bryant Nielson, a 317th crew chief, inspects the landing gears before a flight July 16. Airman Nielson was one of the C-130 crew chiefs that participated in a 10-plane formation. Before the 317th sent Airmen on deployments every four months, they would try to perform large plane formations to prepare for deployments and engage Dyess squadrons.
