DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas- Loadmasters and Crew Chiefs of the C-130 Hercules disconnect harnesses used by medical personnel to hold down equipment while in route back to Dyess AFB from Corpus Christi, Texas, Sept 11. After crew rest the Dyess AFB C-130 transported a Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, medical team from Little Rock Arkansas to Corpus Christi, Texas, to help with the evacuation of sick patients to Dallas Fort-Worth Hospitals. The Air Force and other military forces not only respond in support of war efforts abroad but also to threats on the home front including natural disasters.
