DCC assignment ceremony
DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Dyess’ 317th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chiefs swear by the mechanic’s creed during an induction ceremony Oct. 6 at the base theater. During the Dedicated Crew Chief assignment ceremony, crew chiefs were each assigned a C-130 Hercules that would be theirs to maintain. In order to be chosen as a DCC, a maintainer must have at least six months of experience working on their specific aircraft and hold the rank of staff sergeant or above.
