Coalition maintainers keep C-130 in the fight
South Korean Warrant Officer Hae Ok Yoon (center) inserts an oil cooler intake plug into a C-130 Hercules while Staff Sgt. William Phillips (left) and South Korean Master Sgt. Jun Wan Park keep the ladder steady for him March 26 at a Southwest Asian air base. Airmen from the U.S., Japanese Air Self-Defense Force and South Korean air force's 58th Airlift Wing participated in a coalition maintenance exchange program allowing maintainers to sharpen their skills, exchange ideas, and promote closer relations among coalition air forces supporting the war on terrorism. Warrant Officer Yoon and Sergeant Park are from the South Korean air force's 58th Airlift Wing, and Sergeant Phillips is a crew chief deployed to the 386th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron.
