Wing FOD walk
DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Airmen lineup for the periodic wing FOD walk, June 16. FOD is any object potentially harmful to an aircraft. It ranges from bolts, screws and metal pieces, to rocks, paper, plastic and plants. FOD can cost the Air Force millions of dollars, as a result of damages to aircraft.
