Remembering Sept. 11
DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Dyess Chaplain (Capt.) Gildardo Garcia rings a ceremonial bell here Sept. 11 to honor the victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. The tolling of the bell symbolized the exact moments the terrorist attacks hit the World Trade Center, N.Y., Pentagon and Pennsylvania field with two additional chimes signifying the collapsing of the World Trade Center twin towers.
