Teamwork!
ABILENE, Texas -- Marine Cpl. James White (front) Detachment 1 motor transport maintenance company, hops across a balance obstacle while Lance Cpl. Zachary Lance ensures his teammate crosses safely Sept. 12 at the Abilene Police Academy obstacle course. Every year the Dyess Marines visit the rifle range or the Abilene Police Academy obstacle course to maintain their combat readiness skills and teamwork. The “field exercises” prepare the Marines for what they may encounter when performing missions in Afganistan and Iraq during their 6-18 month deployments.
