Dyess supports Haiti relief efforts
DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Tech. Sgt. Chris Minnifield and Airman 1st Class Derek Murphy, 317th Airlift Group, place ramps on the back of a C-130 Hercules Jan. 17 at an East Coast Air Force Base to load a “Gator,” six wheeled utility vehicle, bound for Haiti. The C-130 crew of six departed Dyess Air Force Base to support relief efforts following the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that devistated the Caribbean nation Jan. 14. The Air Force's airlift capability enables the United States to respond immediately to any disaster domestically or worldwide. We are the only country with an aircraft fleet capable of providing this type of response
