Abilene Police Officer named Hometown Hero flies with Thunderbirds

DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas - Abilene Police Officer Andy Adkins holds his two year old daughter, Addison, after his flight with the Thunderbirds here, April 29. The Hometown Hero program is designed to showcase Abilenians putting forth amazing effort in their community, in line with amazing efforts put forth by America's Airman every day. Officer Adkins received community recognition when he volunteered his time and service to provide a unique opportunity for a special needs individual in the community.
