Col. Gass takes a ride on the C-130 J Super Hercules
DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas-- (left to right) Maj. Josh Frey, 40th Airlift Squadron, Col. Robert Gass, 7th Bomb Wing commander, and Capt. Sean Callahan, 40th Airlift Squadron, prepare for a flight on the C-130 J Super Hercules June 16 here. Although Colonel Gass is a B-1 pilot he was given the opportunity to fly the C-130 J model. The C-130 J model is a new modified Hercules and is the first to arrive at Dyess two months ago in April flown in by Gen. Norton Schwartz, Chief of Staff of the Air Force.
