317th Airlift Group makes big drop
DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas—(left to right) Tech Sgt. Charles Skidmore, Master Sgt. Steve Martin and Senior Airman Jason Ignacio, all from the 40th Airlift Squadron, load a bundle onto the C-130J Super Hercules June 17 as part of a 22-bundle mass container delivery system airdrop at Bronte Drop Zone over Bronte city to demonstrate the capabilities of the C-130J-model. The regular C-130 Hercules’ are only capable of carrying 16 bundles. The 317th Airlfit Group will be training more on this to help prepare them for deployments.
