DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas-- Col. Robert Gass, 7th Bomb Wing commander, gets sprayed down after a flight June 16 here. Colonel Robert Gass was given the opportunity to fly the C-130 J Super Hercules. The C-130 J model is a new modified Hercules and is the first to arrive at Dyess two months ago in April flown in by Gen. Norton Schwartz, Chief of Staff of the Air Force. DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas-- Members of the 436th Training Squadron assemble packages filled with donated school supplies for the Operation Iraqi Children program June 4 here. The program aids Iraqi schools and families who do not have access to basic academic supplies or equipment. ABILENE, Texas-- Airman 1st Class John Tomsich, 7th Operations Support Squadron air traffic controller, stacks bags of dog food at the Rescue the Animals, SPCA shelter June 7 here. Dyess Airmen had a dog food drive and accumulated roughly 3000 pounds of dog food they donated to the Rescue the Animals, SPCA shelter. They raised enough food to feed the animals for 10 weeks.
