C-130s fly in formation
DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – A C-130 Hercules and a C-130J fly over Dyess Air Force Base Dec. 16 in the first formation flight the two aircraft have flown in formation here. Dyess is replacing the current aging fleet of C-130H models with 28 C-130J models by 2013. The C-130Hs are being sent to different bases or being retired. The aircraft brings many improvements over the C-130H model including avionics and an enhanced cargo handling system. (U.S. Air Force Photo by/ Airman 1st Class Chelsea Cummings)
