Airmen go directly to jail

Tech. Sgt. Howard Taylor, 372nd Training Squadron, waits in a make-shift prison at the base exchange during a jail-and-bail fundraiser May 15, 2012, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. The fundraiser allowed airmen to have military and civilian personnel from Dyess arrested and taken to the base exchange. The prisoners were held one minute for every dollar donated toward their arrest. The event was held during National Police Week, proclaimed by President John F. Kennedy in 1962, to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Damon Kasberg/Released)
