Bike patrol keeps Dyess safe
Airman 1st Class Sirenna Marindeleon, 7th Security Forces Squadron, rides her bicycle through base housing during night patrol July 9, 2012, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. From May to September, officers in groups of two ride throughout Dyess assisting with situations that may occur. Dyess base housing has paths that patrol cars aren’t able to navigate, but the bike patrol is able to ensure they’re secured. The patrols not only keep the neighborhoods safe, they also help build rapport with residents. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Damon Kasberg/Released)
